FutureMinds Privacy Policy

Effective August 25, 2026

FutureMinds is a mobile app, made by Wisesoft.ai, that teaches children aged 9 to 16 how artificial intelligence works.

This policy covers the app only. It is written for the parent who owns the account.

Questions: admin@wisesoft.ai

The short version: the app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing is sold. A parent owns the account and can delete everything from inside the app.

1. How we treat children's data

FutureMinds is intended for children aged 9 to 16. Because COPPA protects children under 13, the app's content bands are drawn at that same line — 9–12 and 13–16 — so the age band a child sits in and the data rules that apply to them are always the same boundary. Our COPPA Compliance Statement covers this in more detail.

A parent can review, correct or delete everything held about their child at any time — see Your choices. If you believe a child has given us information beyond what is described here, email admin@wisesoft.ai and we will delete it.

2. What the app collects

The app contains no analytics and no advertising. There is no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no advertising network, and no third-party tracking or crash-reporting service of any kind. This is a deliberate design decision, not an omission.

The parent's account

Parent's email addressTo create and sign in to the account
Parent's nameTo personalize the account and address you in account email

Each child profile

DataWhy
First name or nicknameTo label the profile and greet the child
AgeTo choose the right content band (9–12 or 13–16)
GenderTo pick the profile's color theme. Optional
Avatar colorAppearance only

Use a first name or a nickname. The app never needs a child's full name.

We also store learning progress against each profile: XP, level, streak, which levels have been completed, the best score for each, and the date the child last played. This is what makes progress, badges and the parent dashboard work.

We keep a day-by-day record of which levels each child played, stored as one entry per day. It is what the parent dashboard and the weekly summary email are built from. It records which levels were played on a date — not how long anyone played, which nothing in the app measures.

We record which version of the app the account last ran — the app and build number, the platform, and the identifiers of any over-the-air update it has applied. It carries nothing about a child, and it is how we tell whether a fault someone reports is already fixed in a newer build.

Finally, we store the parent's own settings, including whether they asked for the weekly summary email.

Microphone

One level, Voice Trainer, records the child's voice so the app can play it back. iOS asks permission first.

The recording never leaves the device. It is deleted when the child re-records, when the level finishes, and again when the screen closes. Only the score is saved.

Error diagnostics

When something fails, the app records a short technical note: an error code and the name of the operation that failed. These are held on the device and are not transmitted. They contain no names, no email addresses, and nothing the child typed or chose.

3. What the app does not collect

4. Where the data comes from

We collect data from you, and from nowhere else. Everything described above is either typed in by a parent or generated by a child playing the app.

We do not buy personal data, and we do not obtain it from data brokers, public records, social networks, or any other third-party source.

5. How we use the data

We do not use anyone's data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Who we share it with

The list is short, and it is the whole list.

WhoWhat they receive
Google FirebaseAccount and progress data, as our data processor. See the Firebase privacy documentation.
AppleHandles any purchase. We receive no card details.
ExpoEvery time the app starts, it asks Expo's update service whether a newer version of the app exists. That request carries your device's IP address, the platform, and build identifiers — no account data and nothing about a child. It happens on every launch, including before anyone has signed in or created an account.
ResendOnly if you asked for the weekly summary email. Our email provider, acting as our data processor, receives your email address, your name, and each child's first name and what they explored that week — the contents of that email. It receives nothing if you did not ask for it, and nothing about a family who has turned it off.

No other third party receives your data. Each of the four above is a processor acting on our instructions, and none of them may use your data for their own purposes. We may disclose data if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights. If Wisesoft.ai were ever acquired, account data could transfer as part of that business — you would be told before it did, and this policy would continue to apply until you were notified of a change.

7. Premium and purchases

FutureMinds opens with 14 days of full Premium access, free. After that, the first quest and the Daily Challenge remain free, and an optional subscription unlocks every other quest, new quests as they are added, the parent progress reports, and the weekly summary email.

Payment is handled entirely by the App Store — we never see or store your card details. On our side we store only whether the account is on Premium, and the date that period began.

8. How long we keep it

DataKept for
Account and child profilesUntil you delete the account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Learning progressThe life of the child profile. Removing a profile removes its progress.
Day-by-day activity recordThe life of the child profile, and removed with it.
Voice recordingsSeconds. Deleted when the level ends; never uploaded.
Error diagnosticsHeld on the device only, and cleared with the app's data.

An inactive account is not deleted automatically — we would rather a family come back to their child's progress intact than lose it to a timer. If you want an account removed, tell us and we will remove it.

9. How it is protected

Access rules on our database restrict every child profile to the authenticated parent account that created it. Accounts are protected by a password you choose, and data travels over encrypted connections.

A small number of authorised people at WISESOFT LLC can access account records — in practice to answer a support request, investigate a fault, or carry out an access or deletion request. It is limited to those purposes, and it is not used to browse families' data.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach ever affected your data, we would tell you.

10. Your choices

Delete your account in the app: Profile → Parent area → Delete account. This permanently removes the parent account, every child profile under it, and all progress. It cannot be undone.

Review or correct anything: child names, ages and settings can all be edited in the parent area at any time.

Email: write to admin@wisesoft.ai and we will review, correct, export or delete your data for you.

The weekly summary email: we ask when you create your account, and we only send it if you say yes. It goes to the parent, names what each child explored that week, and is not sent at all in a week when nobody played. You can stop it two ways: the switch in the parent area, or the unsubscribe link in any email — the link works without signing in, and can only ever turn it off. It is part of Premium, so it also stops if a subscription ends.

Other email from us: account email only — password resets and important service notices. We never email children, we do not send marketing email, and the app has no in-app messaging and no push notifications.

11. Your privacy rights (US states)

Several US states give residents rights over their personal data — among them California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Virginia. We extend the rights below to everyone who asks, regardless of where they live, rather than checking your address first.

To exercise any of them, email admin@wisesoft.ai. We will confirm receipt and respond as promptly as we can. If we ever have to refuse a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal it — reply to our refusal and a person will re-review it.

Wisesoft.ai is a small company, and most of these laws set size thresholds we are well below. We offer the rights above anyway — not because a statute compels us, but because they are the rights we would want as parents. If that ever changes and a law does apply to us, nothing here gets worse.

12. Where FutureMinds is available

FutureMinds is offered worldwide, with four exceptions: the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and India. Each of those places sets additional requirements for a service used by children — among them a formal impact assessment, a locally appointed representative, and verifiable parental consent for everyone under 18. We would rather meet them properly than half-meet them, so the app is not offered there yet.

Everywhere else, this policy applies to you, and the rights below are in addition to those in section 11 — which we extend to everyone who asks, regardless of where they live.

Wisesoft.ai operates from the United States, and account data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure in the United States. Wherever you use the app from, your data is transferred to and processed in the US.

Your local law may give you rights in addition to those described above. Wherever you are, all of them are exercised the same way — email us, or delete the account yourself in the app.

The person responsible for the protection of personal information at WISESOFT LLC — and the person who answers grievances — is its sole member, reachable at admin@wisesoft.ai or on +1 720 861 0836.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell account holders by email before it takes effect.

14. Questions or concerns

Email admin@wisesoft.ai — a person reads it, and privacy questions from parents get answered.
